The designer&#39;s Spring/Summer 2025 collection was presented aboard the Staten Island Ferry.

An ambassador of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/student-core-preppy-streetwear-style-mens-fashion-trend-spring-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">preppy</a> , collegiate American style, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/kendall-jenner-and-tommy-hilfiger-campaign-spring-summer-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a> unveiled a navy-inspired Spring/Summer 2025 collection . It featured classic silhouettes&mdash;including sea captain blazers , peacoat trenches, cricket jumpers, V-necks, pleated khaki chinos and shirt dresses, all in the brand&rsquo;s signature red, white and blue tones&mdash;alongside unexpected touches&mdash;including crinkled trousers, lightweight denim cut-offs, loose and supple hand-knitted sweaters in silk, cotton and cashmere, and a series of fitted <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/capri-pants-spring-2024-trend-90-s-fashion-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">capris</a> in colourful checks.

“We’re revisiting the nautical and maritime inspirations that have defined our iconic look since 1985,” Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement. “Now, it’s updated and remixed for 2025: the look has the ease of effortless summer style, but with a confidence that can get you off the ferry and back to town.” The collection features Breton and Ithaca striped shirts inspired by sailing heritage. Vintage regatta jackets and utility pants are designed to be lightweight and fluid, crafted from sailcloth nylons and crinkled cottons. Women’s capri pants are cut in a range of solids and checks and paired with oversized fisherman knits. Classic prep is refreshed with crew jackets in a play on linen and leather, chinos with deck-inspired turn-ups and double-pleated yacht shorts. Inspired by the comfort of the captain’s cabin, soft tailoring lends a sartorial edge to sporty blazers, hand-knit polos and deconstructed trench coats. The look is completed with neck-tie bandanas, hand-woven coastal slippers and a new TH Monogram rope on raffia baseball caps. It’s the new American prep wardrobe, merging vibrant Ivy League style with everyday coastal functionality .

Following last February&rsquo;s show at Grand Central&rsquo;s Oyster Bar, Tommy Hilfiger continues to revive iconic New York City venues as performance spaces. This season, cultural figures boarded the decommissioned ship at Pier 17, South Street Seaport, and enjoyed an evening of Hilfiger hospitality with sweeping views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. With its original interiors still intact, the show marked a farewell to the ship&rsquo;s past role while celebrating its upcoming transformation into a comedy club under the new ownership of Pete Davidson and Colin Jost.
