                <p><span><strong>YOOX NET-A-PORTER, in collaboration with The Prince's Foundation, recently launched</strong> the second collection <strong>"The Modern Artisan"</strong> a capsule collection of responsible ready-to-wear, inspired by the Highgrove Gardens, adjacent to Her Majesty's private residence il Re.</span> <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">The capsule collection, designed and handcrafted by 8 designers, consists of 13 pieces that have been made according to the principles of sustainability. The <span>eight students, chosen from a selection of candidates are: four British graduates in fashion and fabrics, and four Italians from the Politecnico di Milano. The Prince's Foundation offered aspiring artisans a ten-month paid training program that included design lessons - taught by YOOX NET-A-PORTER experts and big names in the industry such as Gabriela Hearst, Giuliva Heritave or Nanushka - and a series of courses on design and craft techniques by the foundation's education team.</span></span></p>
                <p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;"><span>The collection was later made by the students at Dumfries House, home of The Prince's Foundation in East Ayrshire, Scotland, where they undertook six months of intensive production training and acquired the skills to hand craft the collection according to the most high standards of luxury. During the manufacturing process, students learned advanced technical manufacturing skills such as sewing, pattern design and quality control, while also developing the experience to handle wool, cashmere and silk fabrics to ensure excellent finishes.       <p style="text-align: justify;"><span>Each piece in the collection bears a Digital ID, thanks to YOOX NET-A-PORTER's partnership with EON, which gives access to unique product information, as well as care, repair and resale services. The launch also marks YOOX NET-A-PORTER's first</span> <span>carbon neutral</span> collection <span>, which has partnered with environmental consultancy Carbonsink to minimize, calculate and offset the carbon footprint of each garment. Finally, "The Modern Artisan" supports "Kariba Forest Protection", which protects forests and wildlife and supports community-based training and skills upgrading on the Zimbabwe-Zambian border.</span></p>
      <p style="text-align: justify;">The capsule's design and production reflect the program's commitment to promoting sustainability in luxury fashion and the shared ambition of His Majesty the King, YOOX NET-A-PORTER and The Prince's Foundation to protect the planet for future generations. . The inspiration for the entire collection comes from <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">Highgrove Gardens, managed by the Prince's Foundation and renowned for some of the most sustainable and organic approaches to agriculture and horticulture in the UK. For the first time, the Highgrove gardens were the setting for an editorial photo shoot and a creative concept for a fashion collection.</span></p>

Emma is a graduate of the University of Chester and created her own size-inclusive brand for London Fashion Week.</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Adam Benbarek, 21 years old from Turin, graduated from the Milan Polytechnic. Adam is passionate about art and literature from which he draws most of the inspiration for his creations</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Emily Dey, 23, from Middlesbrough. Emily is a recent graduate of Teesside University and since finishing her studies she has decided to put her sewing talent in favor of a local charity that recycles clothes.</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Francesca Garrone, 22 years old from Turin, graduated from the Milan Polytechnic. Francesca hopes one day to be able to present her own brand, using only waste materials.</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Merie Macdonald, 49, from South Lanarkshire in Scotland. Merie recently specialized with a PhD in fashion technology from Glasgow&#39;s Cardonald College, having previously held various positions in the fashion industry, including accessories designer.</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Isabelle Pennington-Edmead, 24, from Cheshire. Isabelle is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University and Manchester School of Art, and offered to sew protective clothing and accessories (PPE) for the National Health Service during the pandemic.</span></p></li><li><p> <span>Arianna Safayi, 22 years old from Perugia, graduated from the Milan Polytechnic. After the program she hopes to be able to use fashion to ignite a debate on issues that are very close to her heart, such as sustainability, diversity and inclusion.</span></p></li><li> <span>Zhenqi Weng, 26, from Milan. Zhenqi studied pattern making at the Burgo Institute of Fashion and fashion design at the Milan Polytechnic. He was born in China and at the age of 7 he moved to Italy, where he began to develop a great interest in fashion and sartorial design.</span></li></ul></div></div></div>

Its business spans the world, with educational programs and placemaking initiatives in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> <span>The Prince&#39;s Foundation and YOOX NET-A-PORTER announced the second edition of The Modern Artisan project during a pre-COP 26 event organized in Milan on September 30, 2021, by the British government&#39;s Department of International Commerce, which underlined the attention of the project to sustainability in fashion.</span></p>
