The big bow, the mismatched shoes &mdash; Sex and the City meets goth balletcore.

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/sarah-jessica-parker-movies-tv-best-roles-hocus-pocus-sex-and-the-city" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarah Jessica Parker</a> is Carrie Bradshaw. Her latest look at the New York City Ballet's 2023 Fall Fashion Gala proves this, as SPJ channeled full Carrie Bradshaw with her look&mdash;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/ballet-flats-to-shop-tory-burch-miu-miu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">balletcore</a> edition. 
First, there was the dress: a black <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/carolina-herrera-resort-24" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Carolina Herrera</a> tutu dress that looked like a ready-to-wear version of a costume straight from Black Swan. It boasted a column of keyhole cutouts and a ballet-inspired off-the-shoulder neckline. And while the dress alone was already a standout, the accessories only made the look even better. SPJ went with an oversized <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/bows-and-hair-ribbons-are-here-to-stay-according-to-the-spring-summer-2024-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hair bow</a> (which happens to be a big trend from the Spring/Summer 2024 runways that SPJ is clearly hopping on early), donned a Vacheron Constantin watch, and carried a mini silver sequin handbag. Tieing everything together were her shoes&mdash;mismatched pink and black heels.
The shoe moment was quintessential Carrie, a throwback to Sex and the City Season 3 where Carrie wore different-coloured Christian Louboutins.

SPJ commented on that costume decision, responding to a post on the account EveryOutfitOnSATC, writing, "We had 2 pairs of what I believe are @louboutinworld scrappy sandals. Pat and I chose to do 1 of each. Perhaps because both were so delicious in colour and seemed in harmony with the dress but also because we simply loved doing 1 of each. Sending my best. And hope this is a satisfactory answer. Xxx."
Though Carrie isn't someone who would likely wear all black as she has a penchant for mixing bold colours and loud prints, her spirit in SPJ's goth balletcore look was still most definitely present.&nbsp;
This was a big moment for Sex and the City fans, especially since Season 2 of its reboot And Just Like That ended about two months ago. While devotees can rejoice that the show has been renewed for a third season, it will be a while until filming again, even longer until available for streaming.&nbsp;
