<a href="https://www.instagram.com/maisonalaia/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ala&iuml;a</a> returns to the city with the opening of its first New York store since 1991. The location at 149 Mercer Street is just steps away from the Maison&rsquo;s original boutique. According to Creative Director <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pieter_mulier/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pieter Mulier</a>, New York is a &ldquo;feeding ground for creativity.&rdquo; Given the late <a href="https://www.maison-alaia.com/us" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Azzedine Ala&iuml;a</a>&rsquo;s long-standing artistic roots, coming back to SoHo was a natural next step. The thoughtfully curated space displays an assortment of artwork and furniture by Donald Judd, Mike Kelly, Jonathan Horowitz, and Robert Rauschenberg. Sleek and sophisticated, Ala&iuml;a&rsquo;s New York store could likely double as an art gallery. Welcome back Ala&iuml;a, we&rsquo;ve missed you.

The Italian fashion house is bringing opulence to the Upper East Side with the debut of its new Madison Avenue boutique.&nbsp;The spacious interior is as ornate as we could expect from a <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/art/vystavki-must-visit-v-2023-m-godu-ot-versache-do-hip-hopa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Versace</a>&nbsp;establishment:&nbsp;marble, silk, and gold accents complement floors featuring the house's signature Barocco prints and Greca designs. Visit the stately&nbsp;boutique at 747 Madison Avenue.

SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/and-just-like-that-season-2-sex-and-the-city-reboot-cast-trailer-details" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sarah Jessica Parker</a> relocated her flagship boutique to West Village. Formerly on West 54th Street, this downtown move is a fitting update given the recent reboot of Parker&rsquo;s hit show, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/fendi-25th-anniversary-baguette-bag-capsule-collection-pop-up-shop" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sex and the City</a>. The '70s-inspired space features an assortment of Parker&rsquo;s Italian-made shoes, in addition to several SJP product varieties. Located in the heart of the action, the 500-square-foot boutique sits right at the corner of Bleecker and Perry Street.

Cult Gaia

Cult Gaia opens&nbsp;their first New York flagship location at 60 Wooster Street on February 8, 2023.&nbsp;After achieving Instagram virality in 2016 with the&nbsp;<a href="https://cultgaia.com/products/gaias-ark-small-natural" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ark bag</a>, Cult Gaia has evolved into a full-fledged lifestyle brand. The space, much like Cult Gaia's pieces, is a work of art. Given the sculptural quality of the brand&rsquo;s offerings, their new flagship store is informed by the grand colonnades of ancient temples. In each of the location's three distinct rooms,&nbsp;Cult Gaia&rsquo;s signature standout pieces are offset by a relaxing color palette of earthy limestone and plaster.&nbsp;Escape the hustle and bustle of the city by retreating into Cult Gaia&rsquo;s SoHo oasis.
