Fashion goes high with practical puffer jackets , functional ski tracksuits, high-quality thermal clothing and essential accessories for winter sports lovers. Many men's and women's fashion proposals for winter 2023-24 skiwear collections perfect for winter holidays and sub-zero days.

CHANEL

&laquo;When I found out we were going to shoot at an ice skating rink, I couldn't help but think of "Ice Princess", a film I always watched when I was a child and thought: 'I want to be an ice skater too !" I never chased the dream, but I loved that film" said Lily Rose Depp, protagonist of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/chanel-haute-couture-in-paris-with-autumn-winter-editorial-23-24" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a> 's Coco Neige autumn winter 2023-24 campaign . The selection of winter garments consists of clothes such as gold lam&eacute; tracksuits, technical satin ski suits with shearling hoods and printed velvet suits. The campaign shot by Mikael Jansson features the young actress in sophisticated and highly technical clothing, showing the synergy between sport and fashion.

LOUIS VUITTON

Christened LV Ski, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-camera-bag-celebrity-accessory-pick-fall-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a> 's autumn winter 2023-24 collection offers a selection of sportswear perfect for low temperatures. The collection combines innovative technical materials and formal, functional designs. The men's line includes ready-to-wear clothing, leather goods, shoes and accessories. The woman wears puffer jackets and parkas with luxurious Monogram details, ski pants and shaping leggings in a classic and contemporary colour palette. And then the winter accessories: scarves, gloves, hats, protective devices and ski masks, shearling and nylon bags, military-inspired boots. The collection dedicated to snow is completed by a monogrammed snowboard and skis.

Kim Jones presents his deluxe version of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/dior-haute-couture-fall-winter-2023-collection-every-look-paris-fashion-week" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a> skiwear (available in boutiques from November 23) in which design and innovation blend with nature and hiking. Created in collaboration with artist Peter Doig , the garments communicate a retro allure of the 80s and 90s and include details inspired by the creative practice of the Scottish artist who is passionate about skiing. The collection is created in collaboration with the Japanese brand Descente , adding a touch of modernity and audacity. Dior strengthens its connection with POC, experts in winter sports and safety, by introducing protective helmets and masks. And finally, a version of the snowboard is also proposed.

This year the autumn winter 2023-24 collection offers garments <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">contaminated with an urban and sporty character perfect for high performance and <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">winter sports. <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">The garments are made with materials that combine waterproofness and breathability, lightness and resistance, <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">technology and craftsmanship. <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">The fabrics include Re-Nylon , Prada Extreme-Tex with antistatic and thermoregulatory properties, while the merino wool is Woolmark certified. The collection focuses on mobility and practicality, with accessories such as the America's Cup sneaker, masks and protective gear for winter sports.

Performance joins <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/kollekcii-ochkov-fendi-osen-zima-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fendi</a> 's style in the 2023 Skiwear collection. In the men's collection the large Fendi Shadow logo appears which appears in a multicoloured geometric abstraction, a print that appears on ski suits and deluxe jackets, a jacquard motif that appears on a sweater, and finally a ski jacket and a fleece with the blue and black FF logo. The women's proposal follows the autumn winter 2023-24 collection designed by Kim Jones . The selection consists of a waterproof and windproof ski jacket with fox fur hood and belt, the classic reversible puffer jacket with one black side and the other with a tobacco-colored FF logo print, which can be combined with coordinated ski trousers. The technical underpants can be combined with outerwear and are made with a unique carbon thread-based fabric that offers thermoregulation, hygroscopy, waterproofness, lightness, warmth, as well as antibacterial and anti-odor properties. Some reversible fur outerwear and accessories are made from 100% wool to add softness to the collection.

BALENCIAGA

Under the creative direction of Demna , <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/balenciaga-show-autumn-winter-2023-2024-look-images-photos-collection-video" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Balenciaga</a> launched the first skiwear collection, featuring ready-to-wear garments, accessories and technically advanced equipment for winter sports. A winter selection featuring parkas, cargo pants, integrated snow skirts and water-repellent accessories, ensuring warmth and protection from the elements. It is characterized by innovative materials and advanced techniques for visibility, insulation, aerodynamics and protection on snow. <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">The campaign develops paradoxically and is set on a sunny beach without snow and the skiwear selection will be available in pop-up stores and installations that recreate the winter atmosphere with design elements inspired by the world of winter sports.

The K-Way Skiwear collection, perfect for skiing and après-ski lovers, enhances the link between the Italian brand and the mountains. The collection includes two coordinated total looks, one for snow sports and the other for mountain activities. The technical performance of the sports selection is enhanced, with waterproof, thermal and resistant fabrics, a practical and functional design featuring: adjustable hoods, ski pass pockets and detachable internal gaiter.

BALMAIN

Balmain proposes a collaboration with Bomber Ski to create a special edition ski inspired by Pierre Balmain's legacy, which combines the liberating spirit of sport with the elegance of the French signature. The founder's passion for skiing influenced Balmain's fashion collections, with elements of ski wear style incorporated into the "New French Style" . The Balmain-Bomber version of the skis are handcrafted with a wood core and a design that features a mini-monogram motif, a creation of Monsieur Balmain since the 1980s.
