The Missoni Spring/Summer 2026 collection designed by Alberto Caliri explores the spontaneity of everyday life. A wardrobe free from rules, capable of blending the rhythm of beachwear with urban life.

There's a sense of immediacy in the new Missoni Spring/Summer 2026 collection designed by Alberto Caliri. An urge to live and dress without calculation, where the sea is no longer a vacation postcard but a shifting horizon, a mirror of days that pass quickly. From the shoreline to the city, seamlessly. Caliri imagines " beachwear not as a simple swimsuit for the beach, but rather as the projection of a woman capable of moving with absolute freedom. A figure who can leave the house with a beach bag, swimsuit and towel, but also put on a jacket, swim, stop by the pool, come back and then head to the office. In other words, a fluid and versatile identity, open to infinite possibilities, that doesn't let itself be imprisoned by the rules of the city or by everyday circumstances." The cardigan from his closet, the cashmere vest, the striped shirt, even the terrycloth towel. It's a radical gesture, almost punk in its simplicity, yet still imbued with the vibrant, iridescent pattern that has always been the Missoni language.

The silhouette remains short and voluminous. Pants become shorts, often with rolled hems, or disappear entirely, making way for swim briefs transformed into city uniforms. Dresses contract into backless t-shirts, while sweaters, despite their textured feel, flare out at the shoulders and taper at the hem. It's a play on proportions that rewrites the very idea of comfort, combining freedom and discipline.

Accessories ranged from small bags worn in bunches to thin berets, soft ankle boots and flat shoes that encouraged movement. Jewellery, meanwhile, became larger-than-life, ironic and sculptural, contrasting with the lightness of the forms. A wardrobe that knows no constraints or rigid rules, asserting the right to wear and disarray, to inherit and reinvent. A Missoni lexicon that continues to move between colour, texture and spontaneity.
