The summer collection consists of ten pieces made from raffia sourced from certified <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/how-to-bring-sustainable-living-into-everyday-life" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sustainable</a> suppliers and GOTS certified dyes. Made For A Woman's summer wardrobe is structured with bucket hats and macram&eacute; headdresses, dresses embellished with floral embroidery, fringed skirts of various lengths and a selection of tops with bandanas, fringes and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/vivienne-westwood-corsets-1987-to-present-day-an-exhibition-starts-may-8th-in-lon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">corsets</a>. The brand founded in 2019 in Madagascar has crafted each piece by hand, using both traditional and innovative raffia weaving techniques developed by the artisans of the M4W atelier and takes up to 90 days to craft. All other fabrics used are sourced from second hand markets, making each piece one of a kind. The gown and headpiece decorations include locally sourced Madagascar gemstones and imported Preciosa beads from Italy.
