Pelagia Kolotouros&rsquo; journey at Lacoste is a journey into the brand&rsquo;s rich archives. From vibrant clay courts to lavish post-match summer holidays, each collection is a vivid film. And for Spring/Summer 2026, she takes the fashionista into the most intimate and intimate space: the dressing room.

The Eiffel Hall at Lyc&eacute;e Carnot Paris, a 1895 glass and iron structure designed by Hector Degeorge, was chosen as the venue for the Lacoste Spring/Summer 2026 show. The historic space with its soaring vaulted ceiling was transformed into &ldquo;The Locker Room&rdquo;, a room of breath, sweat, and moments of silence and excitement. From this emotional backstage, 57 designs were born, a harmony between sport and fashion, a moment of emotional intersection between victory and vulnerability, between the crowd and privacy, when the athlete sheds perfection to return to authenticity.

In the front row, Lacoste's prestigious guests gathered: Anna Wintour, Adrien Brody, Venus Williams, Pierre Niney, along with the first appearance of Kai (EXO) and Thai actress Mai Davikah. Notably, three Vietnamese representatives attended this show, actress Tran Quoc Anh, fashionista Quynh Anh Shyn and stylist Kelbin Lei. All of them shared the elegant and dynamic spirit typical of Lacoste.

The Locker Room - Where true feelings are exposed

The Lacoste show, created by Pelagia Kolotouros, revolved around an evocative idea: transforming the runway into a tennis club locker room, where the audience could enter the athletes&#39; private domain.

Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros has taken a fresh look at the brand&rsquo;s sporting DNA, focusing on founder Ren&eacute; Lacoste&rsquo;s years of training. Titled &ldquo;The Locker Room,&rdquo; Kolotouros invites viewers to go behind the scenes of emotions, where athletes and people alike strip away their veneers to face themselves before or after intense competition.

No longer a regular fashion show, &ldquo;The Locker Room&rdquo; has become a metaphor for authenticity, for moments of confronting the ego that are both joyful and unforgettable. From that flavour, the designs in the new season collection were born, carrying within them a spirit that is both sporty and poetic and an unchanging elegance.

Imperfect Beauty in the Dressing Room

In contrast to the trend of glorifying perfection, Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros finds inspiration in the beauty of imperfection. From the unbuttoned polo shirt, the loosened tracksuit to the loosely draped towel, all evoke images of authenticity and naturalness, where elegance comes from simple, unfinished moments.

This collection is a profound dialogue between heritage and modernity. Lacoste taps into the brand&rsquo;s sporting roots, from the innovative Ren&eacute; Lacoste polo shirt created in 1933, to a reinterpretation of shapes and materials that capture the energy of contemporary movement. Standout pieces include a see-through oversize polo in sheer nylon or sheer organza for a light and sensual feel, a trench coat that resembles a bathrobe with the words &ldquo;Tennis for Everyone&rdquo; to express the egalitarian spirit of sport, a terry cloth tracksuit that is reinterpreted in an unexpected way, and the Lenglen bag that returns with a hemline inspired by a classic tennis skirt and a handle like a tennis racket.

The materials in the collection are a fusion of classic and modern. Translucent organza evokes the lightness of a dressing room curtain, while crisp poplin and mirrored leather create subtle surface contrasts. High-performance fabrics are combined with reimagined heritage materials, creating a feeling of both elegance and freedom, true to the spirit of Lacoste: luxurious, refined, yet authentic.

The Spring Summer 2026 colour palette is inspired by the nostalgic spirit of old sportswear: archival blue, earthy beige, tennis court white, earthy orange, soft olive and fiery orange accents. This blend evokes the feeling of sunshine, sweat and the free spirit of the court, both full of sporty energy and maintaining the elegance typical of Lacoste.
