Nigo wants to leave his mark on Kenzo and explores the influence of Japanese city pop from the 70s and 80s within the co-ed spring summer 2024 collection, combining elements of Japanese tailoring and contemporary details. &nbsp;

The first thing that strikes you about this spring summer 2024 by <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/kenzo-spring-summer-2023-fashion-show-photos-video-images-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kenzo</a> is the new graphic aspect of the logo of the house. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/kenzo-menswear-show-autumn-winter-2023-photos-videos-images-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nigo</a> has chosen to collaborate with Verdy - an artist recently appointed artistic director of the Kpop group <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/blackpink-baby-monster" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blackpink</a> - to give a new face to the brand created by Kenzo Tagada. And we find the new signature on sweatshirts, bags, logomania. A graphic that fits the general trend of the fashion show, retro and (super) contemporary at the same time.

Nigo was influenced by the fashion resulting from the phenomenon of Japanese city pop - a musical genre that appeared in the country of the Rising Sun in the 70s and which reached its peak in the 80s - a style that we see interspersed and mixed with sartorial garments typical of the Japanese tradition .
