Fascination for nature, colors that fade and study of shapes and volumes: these are the key concepts of the collection presented for the first time in Paris by Sohee Park , founder and designer of the Miss Sohee brand.

The starting point of the collection is Shin Saimdang , Korean artist, writer, calligrapher and poet of the 1500s who portrays plants and insects. Fascinated by the way he saw the world around him and how he represented it in his paintings, the artist inspired the designer to capture the moments of each season and transform them into embroideries on the clothes.
Differentiating herself from her debut in February 2022 with the support of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/dolce-gabbana-and-the-minimal-rediscovered" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana</a> , the designer has included contrasting fabrics and colors in the collection, drawing inspiration from the Korean Hanbok. As the designer puts it: "For a while I've been playing with the idea of shadows, the way black touches the color and depth that is created with even a small shade of black. Layers of silky black tulle, black lace appliqu&eacute;s, black velvet meets vibrant pinks , purples and midnight blues of duchesse and silk taffeta.Black is a very seductive color and I wanted to explore it through embroideries, fabrics and manipulations.&rdquo;
With his couturiers he studied and explored sculptural and asymmetrical shapes , which however embraced the silhouette: using new techniques, they created corsets inspired by shells.
For this season the designer has designed some models of accessories starting from historical Korean ornaments, vintage jewels and Norigae, typical Korean tassels. Turtles, corals, lilies, sparrows and cherry blossoms are the motifs that dominate traditional Korean art, reproduced in the collection on jewelry, accessories and embroidery.
Sustainability is also one of the key aspects of the collection: the designer has continued to source fabrics and recycled materials from high fashion houses.
