The new Gucci collection for Fall/Winter 2023 is the discovery of a new world capable of connecting different creative cultures. An interesting intertwining of the heritage of the well-known Maison, up to the era of Tom Ford and Alessandro Michele, then the future. Is all this just a &#39;taste&#39; of the time to come?

None of us would have ever imagined if one day we would ever be ready to observe, but above all listen to the story of the well-known Italian fashion house Gucci after the unforgettable era of the visionary Alessandro Michele. Yet, gradually, this new women&#39;s collection for Autumn/Winter 2023 seems to want to start directing us to a new time, which starting from September will be signed by Sabato De Sarno , the new creative director. Thus, an imaginary capable of linking different creative cultures parades on the catwalk. An interesting interweaving of the heritage of the well-known Maison, up to the Tom Ford and Alessandro Michele era, then the future. This show took place in the heart of the House of the two &#39;G&#39;s , at the Gucci Hub. Here it is precisely the elevators that transport the looks from the building to the catwalk. Sheer nylon pencil skirts worn with red fishnet tights, bright colors, crystal encrusted monogram print bra, bondage collars, multiple necklines and low rise pants. The knitwear, on the other hand, is oversized and the outerwear - especially those in faux fur - are decidedly fun. Less convincing are the much-loved bags, those inspired by the 90s , a time when accessories were perhaps not so beautiful.
