An ode to freshness and creative momentum, this line celebrates the great return of polka dots&mdash;a timeless pattern revisited with a modern twist&mdash;and the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/butter-yellow-nails-trend-2024-summer-nail-colour-hailey-bieber" target="_blank" rel="noopener">butter yellow</a> shade, elected Pantone's flagship shade for summer 2025. To celebrate this collaboration between the brand and the artist, L'OFFICIEL had the opportunity to interview Gabrielle Rul .

L'OFFICIEL: Tell us about your background. Gabrielle Rul: I studied fashion design and started modeling after graduating. Although I loved to travel, I never stopped drawing and embroidering throughout my work. I tried to capture everything I could on paper and keep my hands busy in a job that requires a lot of stillness and waiting. I was the client's canvas, but I needed to continue creating my own vision.
 LO: What is your first memory of Pull&amp;Bear? GR: It was one of my first trips to Spain during my modeling years. So it's fun for me to work with them again in a different direction, where I can be myself and not whatever vision they want me to portray for a day.
 LO: Why did you choose to pose for the brand? GR: The brand approached me and presented the collection. We discussed how we could make it all work so I could incorporate my world into the photos. It was about sharing each other's desires and creating a common vision.
 LO: What values do you share with Pull&amp;Bear? GR: With the team, we really made sure that everyone communicated and that there wasn't just one person's perspective on every aspect of the shoot.
 LO: Tell us about your experience on the shoot. GR: It's very different coming as a model and seeing my drawings come to life. I think after 10 years of modeling, I tend to dissociate myself when it comes to being on set, but on this day, I really felt present, I had a say, and I was an active part of the project rather than a tool. Which was very enjoyable.
 LO: What are your favourite pieces? GR: Honestly, it's hard to choose. They all bring out a certain personality, but I would definitely wear the dresses for a summer beach vacation or a party. I felt very chic in them. The yellow outfit and the one with the boots are cute and also make me feel "strong." I like the duality of feeling both well-dressed and very comfortable. The clothes are like a shield for me, and I felt good in every outfit.
 LO: How does this new collection resonate with your art? GR: I would say it's a very versatile and diverse collection, like what I do. The pieces are all very unique, but somehow they work very well together and can be mixed and matched for different occasions.
 LO: What inspires you on a daily basis? GR: The people I meet or see on the street, the books I read, the songs. I think everything becomes a source of inspiration if you let it slowly sink into your brain. I think my brain translates everything I subconsciously absorb into images. I always carry a notebook with me and I list all the images that come to mind. I always have my mental sketches tucked away in a corner of my mind.
 LO: What are your upcoming projects? GR: I'm currently working on three-dimensional objects. It's very different, and I have to learn new techniques. But it's a very challenging and exciting project, and I'm thinking about where I could hold my next exhibition. I'm happy to share my work online, but I'm also passionate about creating real-life experiences.
