From Hollywood movie stars to dance stars, it&#39;s a moment&#39;s thought for Maximilian Davis who, for his men&#39;s and women&#39;s spring summer 2025 collection, takes inspiration from the world of dance, creating a parallel between his personal history and the heritage of Salvatore Ferragamo.

The starting point is the archive, with the creations that <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/salvatore-ferragamo-his-life-and-creations-on-exhibition-in-florence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Salvatore Ferragamo</a> had made for the ballerina and anthropologist Katherine Dunham, as well as Rudolf Nureyev&rsquo;s custom-made slippers from the 1980s. &ldquo;I have always incorporated different historical periods into my work, periods in which I can recognize myself and my heritage,&rdquo; says Davis . &ldquo;I looked for similarities with Ferragamo and the beauty of this brand is that there are so many stories that you can relate to. Every shoe has its own meaning, every shoe has a story.&rdquo;
In a circular setting wrapped in white curtains, a diversified spring summer 2025 collection parades. The creative director's Caribbean origins emerge in the frayed stone washed denim, in the organic shapes and in the color palette that combines bright and saturated tones with earthy colours and the blue of the sea.

On the catwalk, cashmere and cotton garments become a second skin, inspired by dancers&#39; costumes, layered and knotted, while freedom of movement is expressed through amplified silhouettes, such as opera coats and parachute dresses. New for footwear too, with the Eva décolleté and the graphic sandal that recall ballerina inspiration. Among the accessories, the Hug Bag , made softer, and the Foulard Bag, inspired by the draping of scarves, stand out. Special guests in the front row: Aron Piper, Mahmood, Solange and Marina Abramovic . A collection that is an intersection between the brand&#39;s archive, Davis&#39; creative vision and his origins.
