In her latest show, Silvia Venturini Fendi transports the Roman fashion house to an imagined summer, where lightness intertwines with fluid, contemporary elegance. "It's a sense of lightness and colour that meets a romantic elegance," says the creative director and heir to the Fendi family in the press release for the women's and men's spring/summer 2026 collection."It's not a single definition, but a fluidity between everyday life and excellent craftsmanship. Simple gestures that conceal complexity. This duality has always fascinated me."
An approach untethered from convention, rejecting rigid definitions to instead embrace a vision capable of moving between everyday life and artisanal savoir-faire. A fashion that speaks of simple gestures and hidden complexity. The set, conceived by designer Marc Newson,&nbsp;transforms into a moving chromatic landscape. A pixelated arena that welcomes essential yet surprising silhouettes, reconstructing and deconstructing familiar archetypes. Fendi's grammar reworks the known with irony and sophistication, translating structure into softness, severity into poetry. The soundtrack, entrusted to Fr&eacute;d&eacute;ric Sanchez, consists of the voices of Patty Pravo, Ornella Vanoni and Patty and the recorded dialogues of Federico Fellini, Marcello Mastroianni, Anna Magnani, Anouk Aim&eacute;e and Alain Delon, accompanied by electronic sounds that punctuate the show, establishing a dialogue between tradition and the future.

The dialogue between the women's and men's collections is a key aspect of the collection, highlighted by details that blend tailoring and sportswear. Corsetry, zippers and drawstrings meet impressionist flourishes, iridescent prints and luminous embroidery. The colour palette is vibrant, ranging from vibrant tones to pastels and neutrals. The pieces from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection offer a casual elegance with balloon hems, cropped blazers, cotton coats, men's shirts reinterpreted in hybrid forms, as well as organza, crochet, woven silk &nbsp;and graphic shearling. The maison's mastery also emerges in covetable accessories: the new Fendi Collier bag, the reinterpretation of the Baguette and Spy bags , and the trapezoidal Fendi Way. On the feet, Arco sandals and elaborate moccasins dialogue with jewelry by Delfina Delettrez Fend, in a luxury that remains always ironic and joyful.
