Etro’s Maximalist Mix at Milan Fashion Week
The Italian label's Spring/Summer 2025 collection revealed stunning, sexy boho-inspired silhouettes.
Etro 's Spring/Summer 2025 collection is bold, almost explosive, with deliberately saturated touches of colour, opulence, while the prints have been amplified in abstract, almost psychedelic floral motifs. The silhouettes skim and sculpt the body, the shapes are sensual and fitted, flared and sinuous, the outfits encrusted with lace, laminated, richly embroidered or veiled in dark and diaphanous fabrics.
In the background, a live performance by Sardinian musician and singer-songwriter Daniela Pes , whose sounds, sometimes electronic, sometimes popular, sometimes lyrics taken from ancient Gallurian phonemes, contribute to this feeling of breadth, maximalism and richness that surrounds the collection.
