French fashion house Saint Laurent has decorated the men&#39;s wardrobe with unexpected accents this season: from sparkling crystal-encrusted brooches, glittering suits to patent leather handbags and evening clutches.

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/history-of-espadrilles-summer-shoes-where-they-were-born" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saint Laurent's</a> winter 2022-2023 collection for men is almost from... to... black, but in that blinding blackness, glinting details shine from afar, calling for a bolder approach to menswear. Massive <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/fake-fur-a-trend-that-does-not-lose-its-charm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">faux fur coats</a> sparkle with large crystal and pearl brooches, kimono-style coats sparkle with crystal snowflakes, black sweaters sparkle with lurex and metallic chains, and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/le-smoking-jacket-yves-saint-laurent-alessandro-michele" target="_blank" rel="noopener">classic suits</a> are embroidered with shiny scales. Luxury models are given by classic cuts, strict silhouettes, velvet and silk, and modernity by abundant use of leather, patent leather details and the play of different textures.

The founder of the fashion house, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/art/yves-saint-laurent-60-years-that-unite-6-iconic-museums" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yves Saint Laurent</a> (1936-2008) liked to emphasize femininity through the principle of contrast, adorning women with then unexpected details of menswear, such as his famous tuxedo. In this collection, the current creative director of Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello, kept the idea of contrast, but turned it in the opposite direction - the men's wardrobe here is full of feminine details at first glance. Crystal flowers shine in the ears of the models, large metal earrings, sparkling bracelets adorn the hands, and evening looks are complemented by long leather mittens and patent leather handbags. The <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/max-mara-seductions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boldest accessory</a> of the collection is patent leather high heels with a pointed front and nail-like stiletto heels, which not every woman would dare to wear. The prices of the collection's accessories range from EUR 245 to EUR 2,600.
