Radical and subversive experimentation. With an Egg Hunt spread across the streets of Milan, Glenn Martens undermines the concept of exclusivity, transforming the show into a collective act.

With their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/fashion-week/maison-margiela-artisanal-2025-collezione-glenn-martens" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Glenn Martens</a> and Diesel marked a radical break with traditional runway codes, transforming the presentation into an immersive and almost futuristic experience. The looks, displayed inside transparent egg-shaped capsules, were scattered throughout the streets of Milan with the <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/fashion/diesel-egg-hunt-caccia-uovo-diesel-milano-fashion-week" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Diesel Egg Hunt</a> . An urban treasure hunt that made the show a participatory act. "This is Diesel's democracy," explains the Diesel designer, who will be in Paris in a few days for his ready-to-wear debut with Maison Margiela. "Fashion is a game, and we're playing it: everyone can have a front row. Follow the rules, then break them. For Successful Living!"

The collection develops Diesel 's signature aesthetic, rooted in deconstructed denim , acid treatments, and worn textures, but takes it to a new conceptual dimension. The fabrics appear corroded, oxidised, marked by time, as if they had survived a post-industrial world. The palette oscillates between faded blues and metallic greys, interspersed with flashes of yellow, acid green and shocking pink, underscoring the tension between decadence and rebirth.

The outfits alternate tight, draped silhouettes with oversized, sculptural volumes, featuring fluid trench coats, edgy suits, and dresses that blend satin and denim in a seamless blend of styles. Accessories, above all, give rhythm to the narrative. The new Load-D bag has a soft, futuristic shape, while the D-Pods in stiff denim play with structured volumes. The historic Flag-D folds over itself, transforming into three mini leather bags with overlapping zips.

On the feet, heeled mules with a suspended mini D, sandals with metallic braiding, and loafers with lug soles reinforce the post-industrial imagery. Sculptural jewellery reminiscent of animal vertebrae and skeletons, watches with pav&eacute; dials and oversized acetate sunglasses are also featured.
