During London Fashion Week, David Koma presents the autumn winter 2024-25 women's fashion show. A collection that celebrates femininity with shots of glamour and movement.

&laquo;Generally I like the energy that reigns in the backstage and usually the cameras are always located behind the scenes and I must admit that I liked bringing the cameras installed to the center of the show&raquo; says <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/david-koma-the-spring-summer-2024-fashion-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Koma</a> who presented his autumn women's fashion show winter 2024-25 at <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/fashion-week/london-fashion-week-sfilate-eventi-calendario" target="_blank" rel="noopener">London Fashion Week</a> . &laquo;I imagined this collection taking inspiration from nightwear that comes to life with movements and lights. I worked trying to emphasize the volume of the clothes by creating sculptural silhouettes and working with materials, from the sparkling crystals that reflect and shine in direct light, but also the marabou that floats in the air with every movement."
Because of this David Koma imagines an exchange between the German neo-expressionist dance pioneer Pina Bausch and the contemporary Spanish action artist Candela Capitan, the collection deconstructs the dress codes of dancers' wardrobes on and off duty. A balance between maximalism and minimalism done with glamorous dresses, bold bags covered with marabou feathers, and layered silhouettes with skirts worn over trousers, or trousers layered over very long dresses.
