For its SS26 pre-collection, Courrèges entrusts its image to its community and invests in Parisian reality.

This season, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/fashion-week/chez-courreges-une-celebration-en-mouvement" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Courr&egrave;ges</a> leaves the clinical purity of its famous white box to slip into the pulsating veins of the city. For Spring/Summer 2026, Nicolas Di Felice makes a symbolic and sensitive shift: he entrusts the gaze, no longer to the controlled lens of the studio, but to the trembling and sincere one of the muses who make up his community. The capital becomes a backdrop, the street an intimate catwalk and the smartphone, this everyday instrument, transforms into the mirror of a new aesthetic era.
Inspired by the viral phenomenon of Mirrors of Paris, the shoot breaks free from conventions to embrace the freedom of a selfie. Eighteen faces, including the familiar Apolline Rocco Fohrer, &Eacute;lodie Guipaud, Axel Gay, TOCCORORO and Paul Barge, but also the fresh looks of Jacqui Hooper, Stella Hanan, Nastassia Legrand and Samuel &Eacute;lie, offer their own narrative. They turn the lens on themselves, as if to say: " this is my Courr&egrave;ges, this is my Paris". In their spontaneous shots, elegance rubs against the asphalt, the silhouettes fit into the cracks of reality, between graffiti, forgotten squares and distant dream monuments. The collection, thus captured, breathes a raw, intimate breath, resolutely anchored in the times.
Under the direction of Nicolas Di Felice, the <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/fashion-week/pfw-le-nouveau-sexy-de-courreges-defile-printemps-ete-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Courr&egrave;ges</a> wardrobe blurs categories and hybridises languages. What was formal becomes functional, what was sporty becomes sophisticated. The icon of the season? A fabric-covered trench belt, repurposed into a structuring collar, almost conceptual straps, or a curved waistline. It weaves a thread between the pieces and the intentions, reminding us that at Courr&egrave;ges, detail is never trivial: it is the story.

The short sleeve from 1964 returns with a wink on a long polo dress, while the micro-houndstooth trims a modular culotte skirt. The oversized football jersey slips over a tailored skirt, injecting bourgeois codes with an urban nonchalance. Exaggerated volumes, distilled sportswear, reimagined workwear: genres blend, echo one another, and now defy all boundaries.
In this fluid movement, a new protagonist appears: the Strip bag. Its supple yet thoughtful construction&mdash;magnetic flaps, carabiner closure, zippered pocket&mdash;reflects the duality dear to the house: technical sophistication and poetic pragmatism. On the feet, the shoes reject the injunction to verticality. Flat, inspired by the 60s, they remind us that freedom, too, can have style. From the square kitten-heel slipped under flared pants, to the sharp boots inspired by 1965, each shoe traces its trajectory in a Paris in motion.
And in this summery tableau, colour whispers more than it shouts. Translucent mint, powder pink, bon-ton beige&hellip; A muted palette, sunny without ostentation, which evokes a summer that is inhabited, but not frozen. This collection thus speaks of a multifaceted, contemporary, free Paris&mdash;one that reveals itself in a pocket mirror or the reflection of a shop window. And in these images captured on the fly, between digital imperfection and accidental grace, Courr&egrave;ges inscribes his modernity: a fashion designed not to dominate the gaze, but to dialogue with it.
