No physical presentation, but a short movie takes up the lively facade of the 10 avenue George V headquarters to unveil the Balenciaga Spring Summer 2024 collection&nbsp;

From dog walkers to parcel couriers, these city dwellers brave the sunlit Parisian sky and shelter from the sudden rain, while picking up a dropped coin or hopping onto a scooter. The film &ndash; directed in a single take by Mau Morg&oacute; and marked with BFRND's reworking of &Eacute;dith Piaf's &ldquo;Sous le Ciel de Paris&rdquo; &ndash; takes up the lively facade of the brand's headquarters at 10 Avenue George V. This address, what <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/balenciaga-show-autumn-winter-2023-2024-look-images-photos-collection-video" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Crist&oacute;bal Balenciaga</a> called &ldquo;Le Dix,&rdquo; is where the house's Parisian legacy began in 1937 and continues to be written to this day. The essentiality of the place - and the feeling of applying the codes of the house to the schemes of everyday life - fueled the concept chosen by Demna Creative Director of Balenciaga, who since last season wants to go back to talking about clothes rather than spectacular shows.
In this collection there are all the key pieces of the Balenciaga by Demna style: &nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/emporio-armani-mm6-maison-margiela-fashion-show-autumn-winter-2023-24-collection-photo-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">oversized suits,</a> enveloping trapezoidal coats and padded trench coats, hooded sweatshirts and fly glasses as an accessory for almost any look, including eveningwear. As a pre-collection it encompasses every category: womenswear and menswear, from formal black tailoring to denim, biker leather that becomes a pant-boot in an exercise in demi-couture. Also interspersed are pieces from the "Garde-Robe" collection (the most exclusive line that is launched once a year) such as the silver fringe embroidered dress. The <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/silver-cowboy-boots-to-shop-now" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cowboy boots</a>, the striped market bag covered with sparkling stones, the bag in the shape of a rodeo boot, the "Romeo" sabots with an extra-square toe, are part of the imaginary of the absurd, yet incredibly sleek, al which the Georgian designer has by now accustomed us to. Hoodies show tartan linings, reflecting the street flavour of urban life, while tailored garments have sharp cuts and fine wool fabrics. Eveningwear is given greater mobility through lightweight surf knits or technical crepe fabrics. The result is an observation of metropolitan movement, fusing the Balenciaga nexus with the pulse of real life in real time.
