<p style="text-align: justify;">After close to eight years with Gucci, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/every-look-gucci-spring-summer-2023-mfw-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alessandro Michele</a> has stepped down from his role as Creative Director of the house. Since taking the job in 2015, the designer has managed to transform the look of the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/harry-styles-gucci-hahaha-campaign-fall-winter-2022-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gucci</a> brand, with his vintage-inspired stylistic choices. As with the glamour that came from Gucci's past campaigns with Michele, the designer also led conversations surrounding inclusivity, placing a special focus on the topic of <span>gender, sexual identity and race with his collections and campaigns. And d</span><span>ue to his success and popularity with the younger generations of the fashion community, the designer managed to ring in billions of dollars for French luxury conglomerate Kering; a feat his successor will need to follow in the years to come.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span>During his tenure, the designer also fostered close relationships with friends and collaborators of the house, including Harry Styles, with whom he partnered on the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/harry-styles-gucci-hahaha-campaign-fall-winter-2022-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gucci HA HA HA Collection</a> earlier this year, Lana Del Rey, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/mens-haircuts-2022-ideas-inspirations-stars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jared Leto</a>, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Florence Welch, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/billie-eilish-music-style-evolution-happier-than-ever-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Billie Eilish</a>, and more, after working together with them for his campaigns.</span></p>

"<span>There are times when paths part ways because of the different perspectives each one of us may have," the designer began. "Today an extraordinary journey ends for me, lasting more than twenty years, within a company to which I have tirelessly dedicated all my love and creative passion."</span></p>
