Always discreet and with the same poetry as Azzedine Ala&iuml;a, Pieter Mulier brings to light a collection that speaks of simplicity and purity, intimacy, reduction to the essential, freedom and invention. It is a decision, a choice, not to minimize but to concentrate, to expand the possibilities. &ldquo;Everything you see is created from a single thread,&rdquo; says the artistic director in his press release. For more than a year, the designer has been developing the fabrics for this collection, based on a single merino wool yarn, reinvented many times. We discover silhouettes that play with the idea of ​​rounding &mdash; on one side, the curves of women; on the other, the circles of friends and chosen family, an idea essential to the essence of <a href="https://www.lofficiel.com/fashion-week/le-quiet-luxury-d-alaia-mode-defile" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ala&iuml;a</a> .

Throughout this collection, Azzedine's soul is more present than ever, like a heartbeat, and it remains. "I collaborate, every season, with the workshops, with the same creative team &mdash; Pat, Duffy, Ashley &mdash; and with Gustave Rudman to create music inspired by Ala&iuml;a, and which inspires us in turn. They are our family. For this parade, I wanted to bring us together, see everything up close &mdash; up close, up close to the clothes,&rdquo; adds Pieter Mulier .
