Milan Design Week has started. After postponing the&nbsp;Salone del Mobile event last April, it's finally time to ccome back stronger than before. As always, the fashion system confirms its sensitivity and interest in design, and presents a series of events at the&nbsp;Fourisalone to present the latest homewear collections. New collaborations to perfection, craftmanship, interior design and big names that join fashion brands to design new collections dedicates to the universe of the home.&nbsp;

LOUIS VUITTON

Louis Vuitton continues its journey started in 2012 with Objects Nomades, a line dedicated to lifestyle and home in collaboration with prestigious architects and designer from all over the world. A real journey into design. Among the new entries, in September they present two new collaborations interpreted by the design studio&nbsp;Campana Brothers, a duo made up of the brothers&nbsp;Fernando and Humberto Campanam, and the designer&nbsp;Marcel Wanders. Aguacate is a decorative device for walks like a work of art designed the Merengue leather pouf, an Objects Nomades that morphologically takes up the structure of a soft and super colored meringue. The Duch designer Marcel Wanders, on the other hand, presents the Petal Chair. An enveloping seat made up of 9 cushions that take up the corolla of a flower. Herm&egrave;s presents&nbsp;"Collections for the home" during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. A collection whose main objective is to experiment and explore the suggestive languages of materials. To become the focus of the collection are the textures, the consistencies of the precious materials and the majectic craftmanship with which the products were made. Organic materials are combined with unexpected materials, as in the case of the Silliage d'Herm&egrave;s chair by the architects of Studio Mumbai, cashmere is combined with gold threads for the M&eacute;ridien and Perspective blankets and the plaids of the artist Carson Converse entitled New Heaven, Fall River, Williamstown. Sialk dishes in copper enamelled with bright colors, and starting from the engravings of horses by &Eacute;mile Herm&egrave;s,&nbsp;Gianpaolo Pangi offers cheerful motifs and illustrations of horses for the&nbsp;Hippomobile porcelain service. A journey into the universe and into the Herm&egrave;s artisan philosophy.

This is how&nbsp;Christian Dior&nbsp;described his apartment at the historic address 7, Boulevard Jules Sandeau, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The new&nbsp;Dior Maison collection by&nbsp;Cordeli de Castellane is inspired by the art of the vivre and the savoire faire Dior. Flowers such as clematis, peonies, dhalias and swallows are placed inside jugs and decorative shperes or printed on hand-painted porcelain plates and placemats and finally the candle holders that complete the dowry in perfect syle.

OFF-WHITE

Off-White on the occasion of&nbsp;Milan Fashion Week presents a&nbsp; homewear collection in collaboration with&nbsp;Ginori 1735 in the new store in Bigli in Milan. Virgin Abloh's streetwear and contemporary DNA marries the legacy of the centuries-old italian brand, and together they offer a set of crockery, dinner plantes and serving plates, a teapot and a set of saucers and tea cups with black illustrations of graffiti, mosquitoes, flies and butterflies.
"This collection is designed for the modern dining room, wether in a formal house, in a historic residence or simply a small apartment. The meeting between the modernity of a logo and graffiti art combined with the unmistakable heritage Ginori 1735 is proof that good design can live forever." Virgil Abloh.

ROBERTO CAVALLI

After&nbsp;Fausto Puglisi's debut as the creative direction of&nbsp;Roberto Cavalli with the Spring Summer 2022 men's collection, for the&nbsp;Salone del Mobile in Milan he presents the&nbsp;Home Interiors collection. Design and luxury that reproduce the badges of the Italian brand by combining natural elements with bold animal motifs. The&nbsp;Wild Dining collection presents the Kibo table-sculpture, the Shira chair in wild jaguar silk with black leather and the Soira sideboard with sculptural volumes in gray carbalho and Gray ceramic. And again, mirrors, brass chandeliers with animalier patterns and the Acapulco bookcase upholstered in Wild Tiger fabric and leather. The&nbsp;Wild Suite&nbsp;collection is structured for the bedroom, living and working space. The complements of the collection feature the new Wild Jaguar, Wild Tiger and Wild Zebra prints that combine with black leather and gold components. Focus of the collection, the Morne bed, characterized by the headboard in glossy gray cabalho, a clear reference to the iconic snake skin icon of Roberto Cavalli. For the living area, the Darlington tufted sofa, in black leather and cream piping, combined Wild Jaguar cushions and in leather with snake embroidery. Finally, for the working space, the Antigua desk, with galvanic gold finish and jewel handles.
In parallel to the Milan Fashion Week it presents Cavalli Scratch, a capsule collection in a limited edition of 10 pieces. This time the lowest common denominator is Roberto Cavalli's inspiration, which is translated with fangs, the sharp canines of felines. The capsule is structured with the Wild Swing Chair hammock, the Wild Poul sear in leather and velvet, the fanciful Wild Armchair and the complete furnishing accesories, cushions, lamps and a handcrafted carpet in New Zealand wool and bamboo silk.

GIORGIO ARMANI

Functionality, elegance and connection with nature, these are the three basic elements of the new Armani / Casa 2021 collection. The accessories presented during Milan Design Week and signed by Giorgio Armani communicate well-being and relaxation through the skilful use of materials. The attention is focused on the details: the delicate animalier textures, the morphology of the flora, the positioning and reproduction of the veins of the stones and the study of the colors.

Among the novelties for the living and work area, the Roslin chair in ash and light satin brass, the essential Rousseau desk, the Rodeo pouf and the Ramage and Retta sculptural lamps. For the living room, the Royal piece of furniture covered in paper and cotton like Japanese tatami, the Rugiada cocktail set, the Rubens go game and the Regni plaid. For the sleeping area, the Roomy wardrobe boxes, and the Pegaso candles and the bottle with two glasses for the Riviere night. For the kitchen area the Robespierre barbecue set, the Rowan table accessories while for the garden section , the Rovo gardening set, and for home fitness the Pump steel bottle.

MISSONI

Also present at the Milan Design Week are the Missoni families with the MissoniHome2021 collection. In the collection, the new Miss Wood chairs with a linear solid wood structure without edges, hand-finished and painted with the colors of the maison. For the living room Grandma composed of a sofa, footrest, coffee table and armchair with armrests in curved walnut and covered with flamed fabric. Missoni also offers outdoor solutions: Nap Outdoor , an Andalusian striped outdoor sofa and flamed black and white cushions, the Virgola Sofa chaise-longue, the Cubo Soft geometric pouf and the sculptural vase Missoni Vase by Orsoni Venezia 1888.

SAINT LAURENT

Saint Laurent&nbsp;under the direction of&nbsp;Anthony Vaccarello presents a new collection of ceramics created by&nbsp;Mathilde Martin. Imagining the gardens of Majorelle, home of the founder Yves Saint Laurent, the designer has designed a series of decorative vases, objects, charms and jewels made of raw glazed ceramic and Emaux de Longwy terracotta. Lifestyle products are available in Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles and on the official Saint Laurent website.

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Gucci opens a temporary store entitled Gucci Cartoleria in via Manzoni 19. Until 17 September it will be possible to visit the new address and the lifestyle collection designed by Alessandro Michele. &nbsp; “When I was a child, going to the stationery and finding pencils, pens, notebooks, games, was the same as letting the dream enter my daily routine. They were well-finished, well-made objects with an artisan taste that, although belonging to my daily life, were able to release a magical, strange, wonderful aura. &quot; The creative director of Gucci Alessandro Michele explains, « I therefore imagined a small chamber of wonders, a Wunderkammer that could accommodate these elements of everyday life and restore them to a fairytale dimension, like in an Ali Babà cave. BORBONESE

The artist&nbsp;Pawel Grunert joins the&nbsp;Borbonese team to present during the Milan Fashion Week a showcase dedicated to the central theme of sustainability in the stores of Milan, Turin and Lugano. Central core of the Italian brand, the attention to green ethics, demostrated through the careful research of recycled materials and productions with reduced enviromental impacts. The collaboration gave birth to a showcase in which the SIE43 seat made with plastic bottles and the IT bag of the Maison Borbonese, the&nbsp;Dunette bag created with recycled nylon, will be exhibited.
