The Blink Twice director opens up about her relationship with Channing Tatum and their plans for the future as a couple.

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/sheer-naked-dress-celebrity-fashion-beyonce-rihanna-zoe-kravitz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zo&euml; Kravitz</a> recently opened up about her relationship with <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/hommes/channing-tatum-versace-eros-fragrance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Channing Tatum</a> and what they have in store for the future. In a lengthy piece published in <a href="https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/a61792787/zoe-kravitz-blink-twice-interview-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Esquire</a> , the 35-year-old reflects on the journey of her directorial debut, Blink Twice , and how her fianc&eacute; fits into her life. Zo&euml; and Channing quietly got engaged in October 2023, more than two years after sparking rumors of their relationship. They met while working on Blink Twice in 2021.
"He's adaptable," Zo&euml; tells Esquire of how she and Channing manage their relationship . "I sleep differently when he's home." Zo&euml; explains that she had never met Channing before she sent the script to his production company. They exchanged "note calls" as Zo&euml; polished the script until the producer and star were ready to sign on, and the rest is history. Sometime after the star accepted her role in Blink Twice , but before filming began, he and Zo&euml; became a couple.

During a June appearance on the <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0j1j614" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zoë Ball and Friends</a> podcast, the rocker and actress-director&#39;s father, Lenny Kravitz, spoke about how well Channing has integrated into the family since he and Zoë became a couple, even saying that they might &quot;get married next year.&quot; However, Zoë denied it, suggesting that her father took her words too literally. &quot;It was literally something we said in passing,&quot; she told Esquire . &quot;I might have said, &#39;Next year would be nice.&#39;&quot; While Zoë doesn&#39;t have a wedding date to suggest, she tells the magazine she&#39;s certain about the couple&#39;s future, which likely won&#39;t include more children. &quot;For a long time, I felt like there was something wrong with me,&quot; she says. &quot;I was waiting for this light to go on in my head, but it never did. When you&#39;re young, you&#39;re like, &#39;I can&#39;t have kids, I&#39;m too young! I&#39;m too young! That would be crazy.&#39; I had to ask myself what I wanted.&quot; Zoë says that as she’s gotten older, her group of friends has shifted as their lives have changed with marriage and children. As someone who doesn’t see herself having children, she admits it can be isolating. “For a lot of people who have children, it’s a huge, life-changing event — and I think their community should give them some attention and respect,” she says, adding that she wants the same respect for her accomplishments that don’t involve children. “There’s a lot of pressure on women to have children, and it feels like if you don’t have children, you don’t have a reason to be here. But with this film, I feel like I’ve given birth.”
