With pop star The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp as headliners, it&#39;s an understatement to say that this is the event of the day in Cannes.

The Scoville scale identifies and classifies the potency of peppers: in its simplified version, it establishes 10 possibilities, from 0 (neutral) to 10 (explosive). If we had to situate The Idol and the echoes announcing its arrival, let's say that we would be between 9 - volcanic - and 10 - explosive. Its creator, Sam Levinson , known for <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/best-fashion-moments-film-tv-2022-bridgerton-euphoria-do-revenge-blonde" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Euphoria</a> , went through a turbulent period to say the least, accused of having allowed a toxic climate to settle on his set, to the point of, it seems, endangering his performers. There's no doubt that the second season displayed a certain lustful complacency, childish at best, unhealthy at worst. While Euphoria revealed the talents of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/zendaya-rocks-coachella-2023-with-her-unexpected-performance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a> (whom he again directed in Malcolm &amp; Marie ), Sidney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira and offered Dominic Fike his first film role, it seemed caught in its own trap. Forcing the line, playing the one-upmanship a little, his exploration of the universe of unbalanced teenagers was running a little empty. The filming of his new creation was chaotic to say the least: one of the directors, Amy Seimetz , jumped ship as production drew to a close, forcing its creator to rework not only the camera but also the script, almost from scratch. To return, if we are to believe fairly concordant sources, to his fads already evident in Euphoria - sex, drugs and, just to check off all the clich&eacute;s, rock'n'roll, since it will be a question here of the backstage of the music industry. The same sources point to exhausting filming, subject to constant changes in narrative direction and an anxiety-provoking atmosphere. At the origin of the project Abel Tesfaye (alias <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/what-happens-inside-met-gala-seating-chart-performances" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Weeknd</a>), and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/the-new-chanel-22-bag-photo-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lily-Rose Depp</a> praised the professionalism of Levinson, as well as other witnesses, close to the production. It would seem that Levinson, aware that HBO , the producer and broadcaster of The Idol , was eagerly awaiting a third season of Euphoria , took advantage of the situation to impose his vision. The history of Hollywood is punctuated by incredible shootings , baroque atmospheres (to put it politely), deaf rumours, more or less founded (few circles favour jealousies so much, therefore biased points of view). We will therefore be careful not to take sides, rather waiting to judge the result on the documents, hoping that the mists have dispersed to discern it clearly. &nbsp;
