Before <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/taylor-swift-grammys-2024-album-of-the-year-historic-win" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a> became a billionaire, a global superstar, and a&nbsp;household name, she was a young girl emerging in country music with an acoustic guitar, cowboy boots and maxi dresses, her signature curly blonde hair falling naturally. Here, we take a look back at the music icon in photos when she was just starting to break through as a young artist on the scene.

In an early era red carpet look, Taylor walked the red carpet at the CMA&rsquo;s in Los Vegas wearing a black gown with matching opera gloves.

On November 23, 2006, Swift performed the National Anthem at a Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game in Detroit, long before the country crooner switched over to pop music, and started dating NFL star <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/taylor-swift-and-travis-kelce-s-relationship-journey" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Travis Kelce</a>.

The singer-songwriter arrived on the red carpet for the ACM Award ceremony in her signature debut era style, cowboy boots and all.&nbsp;

In a white summer dress, Swift walked the red carpet for the CMT Music Awards in Nashville, a fan-voted awards ceremony for country music videos and live performances.

For the BMI songwriter awards, a young Swift wore a sparkly LBD on the carpet before the awards ceremony.&nbsp;

Of course in a white summer maxi dress, Swift performed in Kansas City with a signature Taylor custom-made acoustic guitar.&nbsp;

At the 41st CMA Awards, Swift accepted the Horizon Award, teary-eyed thanking the fans for their support of her music career.

At the CMT Music Awards, Swift accepted an award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Tim McGraw" in the flowy tourquise gown which she also wore in the music video.&nbsp;
