On the of November 25 - International Day Against Violence against Women - Pomellato together with CADMI (Shelter for Abused Women) brings a dialogue to the Teatro Manzoni to change the paradigm on gender violence starting from the "WHY" and the "HOW".

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/pomellato-gioielli-new-collection-high-jewellery-milan" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pomellato</a> renews its commitment to female empowerment by siding with women against violence and for the international day on November 25. The Teatro Manzoni in Milan hosted the fourth edition of the forum organized by Pomellato in collaboration with CADMI (Casa di Accoglienza delle Donne Maltrattate) with the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, a dialogue intended to overcome stereotypes and prejudices due to a cultural heritage that contributes to spreading discrimination. Starting from the "WHY" to the "HOW", the talk led by Sabina Belli CEO of the Pomellato Group , hosted prominent figures from the legal, academic and social world, moderated by Virginia Nesi, journalist of Corriere della Sera and Danda Santini , director of iO Donna. The event explored the topic of gender violence and the role of an aware society in combating it by addressing 4 chapters "Social Sentinels: The courage to see", "Giving voice to change", "Being aware attachments", "Building tomorrow: from dialogue to action" . The magistrate Fabio Roia opened the dance by underlining the need for a "positive contamination" by men to promote a culture of respect, while the lawyer Manuela Ulivi highlighted the courage required to become a social sentinel in a society that often marginalizes those who intervene. According to data from the Court of Milan, 90% of gender crimes are committed by men, mainly between 18 and 41 years old, due to rooted cultural and family models.

In the world of work, Pomellato demonstrated the effectiveness of initiatives such as dialogue days and work permits to support those who suffer violence. The director of iO Donna , Danda Santini, and Alexa Pantanella discussed the importance of inclusive language to combat stereotypes and discrimination, while Luca Milani highlighted the role of assertive education to prevent violence. Eugenia Romanelli and Kulsum Shadab Wahab recalled the importance of safe spaces and new narratives to support victims and promote cultural change. On the practical front, Fabio Roia highlighted the gaps in the application of regulations, while Helen Nonini and Paola Cillo linked economic violence to the lack of financial education, proposing concrete actions to strengthen women&#39;s awareness.

Future challenges also include issues related to mandatory sexual education, social sustainability in companies and constant attention to the phenomenon of gender violence, to overcome stereotypes and promote a more equal society.
