<p>"The Witcher: Blood Origin" is one of the latest hit series that Netflix has produced. Actress Sophia Brown plays one of the main characters, &Eacute;ile. She puts down the sword for L'Officiel and stands in front of the camera for top photographer Pip Bourdillon.&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The hit series "The Witcher" has already gone down in history as a ratings hit. Now series makers have developed a story that takes place 1,200 years earlier and is equipped with Hollywood capacunders like Minnie Driver or Michelle Yeoh: <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Witcher:_Blood_Origin">"The Witcher: Blood Origin"</a> . Sophia Brown is also part of the party. The British actress has been known for her roles for years and is now known to a global audience of millions.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It's Sophia Brown's year anyway, as she stars in Sky's Borderland, a thriller set in 1970s London that will be released in Summer 2023. <h4 style="text-align: justify;">How did you react when you found out that you will be part of the cast of the Netflix series "The Witcher - Blood Origin"? Did you dance in the kitchen or did you call your best friend right away?</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "I was on my way home when I got the call and I'm still surprised I didn't cause an accident. I called my partner, my sister, then my mother and father. When I When I got home I put the song I sang at the audition, 'The Parting Glass', on my speaker and screamed it out loud."</p>

<h4 style="text-align: justify;">What do you like most about the script?</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "I'm amazed by the strong, unruly women."</p>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">In the show, you play &Eacute;ile, an elite guard who is also a talented musician. How did you prepare for this role?</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "With Vicky Jewson and Sarah O'Gorman, the directors, I did a lot of text work and built the world and characters. I also took a lot of combat training and music lessons to learn how to play the nickelharpa to familiarize."</p>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">&Eacute;ile has many different talents and abilities such as horseback riding, playing her instrument or fighting. What was a real challenge you had to overcome?</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "Each of them had their moments, but let's just say that me and the Icelandic ponies just don't get along naturally." [Icelandic ponies are known for their stubborn nature, ed.]</p>

<h4 style="text-align: justify;">You play alongside great actors like Minnie Driver or Michelle Yeoh - how was the atmosphere on set?</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "Michelle is so kind and it was so motivating to work with her every day. Unfortunately, while I never got the chance to do a scene with Minnie, I remember noticing that she was in make- up truck so I sprinted over to her to embarrass myself right away by confessing my love for her and her work. She chatted with me for a while and gave me great advice on how to navigate the industry ."</p>
<h4 style="text-align: justify;">Is there anything you took away from the shoot as a souvenir to keep as a memory? Of course, we won't tell!</h4>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Sophia Brown: "What didn't I actually take with me? The most obvious of course - my swords and blades! Those were the practice blades, which were made of hard rubber. I wasn't allowed to keep the real ones."</p>

Do you have any advice for young actors?</h4><p style="text-align: justify;"> Sophia Brown: &quot;Andre De Shields won his first Tony Award in 2019 at the age of 73 and his speech really impressed me. I wish I had heard it earlier in my career: &#39;The top of one mountain is the bottom of the next. Keep climbing.
