"Emily in Paris" couldn't have been better without adding a love triangle to its realistic and clich&eacute;-filled story. L'Officiel met with Camille Razat and Lucas Bravo, who bring to life the characters of Camille and Gabriel at the two ends of this triangle.

What do you think of the way Paris is portrayed through Emily's eyes and on social media? Do you think it captures the true essence of the city?
Camillle: I think &ldquo;<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/who-is-thalia-besson-aka-genevieve-in-emily-in-paris" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emily in Paris</a>&rdquo;, like &ldquo;Sex and the City&rdquo;, is an exaggerated reality. In a real sense, it is not real. Of course, we cannot show all of Paris, but it is a part of Paris and to be honest, the arrondissement (area) where we shot is really clean and beautiful, as shown in the series. But of course it is not realistic. We play with clich&eacute;s and that is the best thing about Emily in Paris; it is a cheerful, light and very entertaining series.
So what was the most challenging thing about playing Camille? Especially the complexity of her relationships with Emily and Gabrielle. &nbsp; How are you approaching season four?
Camille: Yeah, I think for Camille, the fourth season is very heartbreaking. Everything she ever dreamed of is falling apart. Everything is falling apart, including the marriage, the kids, Sofia. This season is a time for Camille to find herself and create a new future. It was great to play those emotions as an actress, it gave me a chance to show a wide range of emotions. So I'm very grateful to play this character.
And Lucas, after four years of being the world's coolest chef, do you really know how to cook?
Lucas: Yes, I used to cook. Now I don't do it as much because I don't have time to cook anymore... But I love cooking, I always have.
All fans will be waiting for the restaurant in Rome after season 4. As a French person, how do you evaluate the main differences between French and Italian culture cuisine?
Lucas: It's a completely different culture! Our cuisine is Bourguignon (French country cuisine), there's a lot of meat. As the world changes, our cuisine is evolving, but our culture is based on old-fashioned meat dishes. Italian cuisine is very generous, with lots of dough, lots of red, lots of pasta, pizza, burrata, parmigiano; it's very rich. The food of the two cultures is completely different, but I think cheese is dominant in both. That was a good question.

And in this series we see Gabriel complaining about the communication barrier between him and Emily. As a Frenchman in real life, can you be in a relationship with someone who doesn't understand your language? It's a general question, it's not just about you.
Lucas: Yes, I was in a long-distance relationship. It was when I left Los Angeles. Her name was Natalia and we still get along. It's not really relevant to this question but I wanted to mention that. And yes, when I went back to Paris for four years, we continued to communicate very well. She tried to learn French and I tried to learn English! And it was great. She would come to Paris and I would go to Los Angeles. So I think it's possible.
So Emily could learn a lesson from that! Camille is known for her chic, effortless style. How much of Camille's fashion sense reflects your own personal style? What are some of your favorite looks from the show?
Camille: Season four is definitely closer to my personal style. I work on the clothes with Marilyn Fitoussi, our costume designer. Our goal is to highlight new and emerging designers through &ldquo;Emily in Paris.&rdquo; It&rsquo;s a great thing. I think my style is bolder this season and more in line with the character&rsquo;s story. If I had to choose an outfit, I would choose the simplest one that people can recreate: I&rsquo;m wearing a brown vegan leather men&rsquo;s jacket. The brand is Gestus, from Copenhagen.
