Everyone knows and has grown attached to the character of <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/leo-woodall-bridget-jones-4-new-love-interest" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridget Jones</a> , played by the brilliant <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/frazzled-english-woman-aesthetic-tiktok-internet-style-british-trend-y2k" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ren&eacute;e Zellweger</a> . We love her because she embodies with humor and sincerity the imperfections and uncertainties that many can identify with. Today, we are delighted to learn of her return to the big screen, and here is the first information that we have been able to gather following the start of filming of the fourth part in London .

The fourth installment in the cult classic *Bridget Jones saga is Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy . Based on Helen Fielding's 2013 novel, the film follows Bridget, now in her fifties, as she navigates the challenges of being a single mother while returning to the dating scene after the tragic loss of Mark Darcy... and of course, more wild romantic encounters. This new chapter promises the familiar mix of humor, romance and quintessential charm that made the previous films a fan favourite.

Ren&eacute;e Zellweger reprises her iconic role as Bridget Jones, alongside <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/love-actually-cast-then-and-now" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hugh Grant</a> as the charming but troublesome Daniel Cleaver. Interestingly, after her character's presumed death in the third film, the actor's return adds an intriguing twist to the story. Emma Thompson will also be back as the straightforward Dr. Rawlings. New faces joining the ensemble include Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall as potential new love interests, with Isla Fisher and others adding a new dynamic to Bridget's world.
