The announcement came on stage at CinemaCon , where the four leads revealed that the films&mdash;each focusing on a different member of the band&mdash; will be released simultaneously in theaters worldwide in April 2028 , ushering in a cinematic experience unlike any other.

The idea, conceived and directed by Mendes - who explained how &quot;it is an honor to tell the story of the greatest rock band of all time and challenge the conventions of traditional cinema&quot; - foresees that the four films intertwine, composing a choral tale of the most famous band in the history of music. Sony Pictures will finance and distribute the project globally. Mendes will direct all four films and produce them alongside Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor . Jeff Jones , for Apple Corps Ltd. , will serve as executive producer, who said: &quot;We are delighted to collaborate with Sam, Pippa and Julie to explore the unique stories of each Beatle, brought together in an innovative and engaging way&quot;.
