The announcement came on stage at CinemaCon , where the four leads revealed that the films&mdash;each focusing on a different member of the band&mdash; will be released simultaneously in theaters worldwide in April 2028 , ushering in a cinematic experience unlike any other.

Sony Pictures will finance and distribute the project globally. Mendes will direct all four films and produce them alongside Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor .
