Airing gripping episodes for over a decade, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/emma-roberts-x-about-you-come-wake-the-coastal-cowgirl-in-you" target="_blank" rel="noopener">American Horror Story</a> is one of those series that never gets old. Being an anthology, each AHS season is its own standalone story, complete with different characters (most of the time) in a new time and place. Merging novel storylines with true-to-life details and familiar, albeit problematic behaviors, the FX show is as enlightening as it is terrifying. It&rsquo;s been three years of anticipation since showrunners Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk confirmed Season 12 back in 2020. Since then, we&rsquo;ve been dying for details. Matt Czuchry was the first cast member to be confirmed following the cancellation of his former series, The Resident. It will be Czuchry&rsquo;s first-ever appearance in the AHS franchise.&nbsp;In a cryptic <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cq3I5RnsAg1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram post</a>, Murphy teased that AHS veteran <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/emma-roberts-x-about-you-come-wake-the-coastal-cowgirl-in-you" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emma Roberts</a> will be rejoining the cast alongside <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/kim-kardashian-reveals-secret-to-wear-marilyn-monroe-dress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kim Kardashian</a>, who is making her AHS debut. Although this may seem out of left field, it isn't the first time AHS has cast a celebrity. Remember <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/music/lady-gaga-style-evolution-red-carpet" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lady Gaga</a> as The Countess in Hotel? Plus, the series' theme of horror is on-brand for Kardashian as a sort of campy cameo (think back to when she hosted <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/all-the-celebrities-who-announced-their-pregnancy-in-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saturday Night Live</a>). Murphy, known to be friends with Kardashian, said of the reality star, &ldquo;Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Season 12 is entitled Delicate, based on Danielle Valentine&rsquo;s soon-to-be-released novel, Delicate Condition. With other seasons featuring more overtly terrifying names like Murder House, Asylum, and Cult, this comparatively sweeter title feels like a bit of a departure. But, true to AHS form, the novel is described by Valentine as &ldquo;a gripping thriller that follows a woman convinced a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens―while the men in her life refuse to believe a word she says.&rdquo; Author Kate Gutierrez calls it, &ldquo;Beautifully written, unbearably tense, and deeply scary. A modern fairy tale that asks what we'd be willing to sacrifice for the thing we want most." Think of it as a modern, feminist&nbsp;take on&nbsp;Rosemary&rsquo;s Baby.

The show will begin filming in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/new-nyc-store-openings-to-attend-this-year" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City</a> near the end of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/new-movies-tv-shows-watch-april-2023-netflix-hulu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">April</a>.&nbsp;

AHS Season 12 is set to premiere&nbsp;in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/spring-summer-2023-runway-trend-astrology-zodiac-sign-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">summer 2023</a>, but stay tuned for when Murphy releases the exact date in June.
