How is artificial intelligence changing careers and potentially being a threat to them?

<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/artificial-intelligence-creates-selfies-from-historical-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Artificial intelligence</a> has grown into people&rsquo;s minds lately; for some, it has become a part of their daily life.
It can be convenient, but it can also be alarming in specific fields. Nowadays, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/culture/technology-check-out-the-biggest-trends-for-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">technology</a> plays a significant role in our lives. We use it constantly to help us achieve any task; however, this simple action of involving electronic devices in our lifestyle may have repercussions.
So far, many companies are using some forms of AI in areas such as customer service. Eventually, we will see a shift in the number of job opportunities available in departments like copywriting, content creation, design, and modelling.
For example, AI-generated <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/highest-paid-models-in-the-world-kendall-jenner-gisele-bundchen" target="_blank" rel="noopener">models</a> are increasingly being used in editorial shoots; thus, make-up artists, hair stylists, <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/ibiza/ibiza-89-a-re-release-of-the-classic-club-photography-book" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photographers</a>, and other behind the scene creatives are losing out from the use of models generated by artificial intelligence. However, the issue is not just models possibly getting their job stolen by a program but the fact that a software can manipulate specific details such as someone&rsquo;s skin tone; therefore, AI could control ethnicity and continue to feed unrealistic beauty standards.

On April 20th, the world&rsquo;s first AI Fashion Week occurred in New York. Hundreds of designers showcased their digital collections modelled on avatars. Around 60% of the participants used a text-to-image generator, &ldquo;Midjourney&rdquo;, to help design their works.
Of course, the more specific you are, the better the result will be&hellip; &ldquo;You have to explain the texture, length, emotions&hellip;&rdquo; said the designer Alena Stepanova, whose creations were inspired by the landscapes of her native country Kazakhstan.&nbsp;

Today, more than ever, we are on the verge of a new world, digital technology, in fact, is changing the way we see reality. We are finding deep motivations, feelings, and ways to shape the overwhelming power of technology.
 As we live with it, we will learn how to not be enslaved by it, instead finding a way to exploit its potential and qualitatively improve our lives. Past and future can coexist; human creativity is key to the AI revolution. Technology can produce an image based on past analysis, but it can&rsquo;t understand the technicality behind a garment.
Suppose we were to live in a future where artificial intelligence becomes fundamental. How will retail businesses compete when every one of them is employing predictive AI where the outcome is the same trend data? In this case, they couldn&rsquo;t develop serious competitive advantages.&nbsp;

For companies to stand out from one another, we need to understand the limitations of artificial intelligence.
The only element that can keep business competitive is human creativity, something that AI can&rsquo;t do; create something entirely innovative. Creativity is essential; it may come from our environment, relationships, emotions, and experiences.. things that artificial intelligence lack of. Brands must produce original and unique materials to outstand in such a competitive market. AI cannot think in a divergent way like a human does; it is not genuine innovation but rather a programmed imitation.
