<a href="https://www.instagram.com/lillikellymakeup/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lilli Kelly</a>&nbsp;is a UK-born international make-up artist whose 10-year career spans fashion, beauty and film. Brutalist brows - we&rsquo;ve seen them everywhere from the catwalks - Balenciaga&rsquo;s blocked out, pierced brow - to celebrities - with Doja Cat and Amelia Gray shaving theirs off altogether.&nbsp;
Brows like these are a huge commitment, but don&rsquo;t fear my lovelies! I have the tips you need to create the super high fashion bleached, blocked or pierced brow for Halloween, while still keeping yours intact. Changing up the brows is my personal favourite way to really transform into a character I'm creating and will elevate any look to the next level.

The blocked-out brow&nbsp;
This is a technique we must thank our fabulous drag queens for. It completely blocks out the brow, so that you can create a whole new one!&nbsp;
Cover your whole brow with a glue stick. I recommend Elmer&rsquo;s Purple Tinted (it dries clear). Brush the glue through your brows with a mascara wand or small brush, making sure to cover every hair. Smooth the hairs flat to the skin with a spatula (or finger) and wait for the layer to dry. Repeat two to three times. The key is to get the brow hair as flush to the skin as possible.&nbsp;
Cover your brows with setting powder. Any brand will do, but the key here is to press the powder with real pressure over the brow to lock it in place.&nbsp;
Paint over your brows with your foundation or concealer to make them disappear. Use a patting or stippling motion to ensure you don&rsquo;t disrupt the glue.&nbsp;
Finally, add one more layer of powder over the top to seal the deal.&nbsp;&nbsp;
PRO TIP. If your brows are dark, you can use an orange tone colour corrector before the concealer to cancel out the grey tones and ensure brows are undetectable. Now the world's your oyster! You can get super creative and add rhinestones, fake piercings, recreate the &lsquo;90s skinny brow or replicate your desired spooky character.

The faux bleached brow
This technique is a super quick and easy way to achieve the high fashion bleached brow - without the bleach!&nbsp;
My favourite product for this is <a href="https://www.maccosmetics.com/product/13840/1573/products/makeup/eyes/eyeshadow/pro-longwear-paint-pot" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MAC</a>&rsquo;s Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the Painterly shade. This is a light nude primer and shadow that will work with every brow and skin tone. Brush the product generously through the brow, making sure to cover all hairs so your natural brow colour is unseen.&nbsp;
Repeat the process if needed, and voila! A temporary bleached brow.

The blocked-out brow 

The pierced brow&nbsp;
This is such an easy way to add so much edge to your look. So easy, with maximum effect! You can do this over your newly transformed brows or just on your natural ones. &nbsp;
First, you&rsquo;ll need fake piercings, these are very inexpensive online, and you can opt for a hoop piercing or the barbell effect.&nbsp;
Whichever your piercing of choice, you&rsquo;ll need a strong eyelash glue to stick it down. &nbsp;
Apply the glue to each end of the hoop, wait a few seconds for it to go tacky, and stick it to where you desire your piercing to be. Hold in place for a few seconds, and you&rsquo;re pierced!&nbsp;
If you&rsquo;ve opted for the barbell effect, you can add a ball above and below your brow to create this, so simple but so effective.&nbsp;
Add as many piercings as you like - take inspiration from the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/balenciaga-haute-couture-23">Balenciaga</a> show and have a full pierced brow!&nbsp;
