2023 has been the year of the bang. <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/70s-hair-trends-shag-bangs-comeback" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Curtain bangs</a> have continued their reign, and <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/french-bangs-haircut-trend-hairstyle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">French bangs</a>, a l&aacute; Jane Birkin, have had their own moment as well, but as fashion month and the <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/beauty/bows-and-hair-ribbons-are-here-to-stay-according-to-the-spring-summer-2024-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2024 runways</a> have revealed, the baby bang &mdash;also known as the micro bang&mdash; is the newest trending bang style.&nbsp;
Unlike other popular bang styles, the baby bang is usually a straight, blunt cut above the eyebrows. This bold look may be a statement, but it's surprisingly versatile and needs nothing but confidence and plenty of trust in your hairstylist to pull it off. There are endless ways to style baby bangs, be it straight and blunt or layered and wavy.&nbsp;

Celebrities like Olivia Rodrigo, Leighton Meester, and Bella Hadid rocked the hairstyle earlier this year, but since then, baby bangs have grown in popularity. Micro bangs and other bluntly cut bang hairstyles were heavily featured on the runways during fashion month from the Spring/Summer 2024 season, as seen on the catwalks of Alexander McQueen and Grace Ling. Not only were they favoured by designers and stylists, but celebrities adopted the look as well. Both Zo&euml; Kravitz and Julia Fox, two veritable style icons, debuted micro bangs during this recent fashion month.
