At MAY Artspace, the Bro-Active art team brings colorful, multi-genre works from sculpture, pop-art to abstract to tell a personal story intertwined with a satirical perspective on society.

The Bro-Active group includes painter Vuong The Quan, painter Pham The Vinh, painter Hoang Thien Phuc and sculptor Le Phi Hung. They are friends who have met and together formed a private playground to be free to pursue personal thoughts on the path of artistic creation, as well as to share and support each other in the process. working program. Pham The Vinh and Hoang Thien Phuc meet in vivid colors bearing the shadow of pop art, built on the composition of synthetic materials. But the story of the two artists has a clear contrast. The Vinh talks about the crowd, the connecting combination to send in it a satire about the movement of contemporary society or hidden behind the psychological change of the individual in the times. Meanwhile, Thien Phuc brings a thoughtful individual who carries the concept of an insider but is also someone who observes everything quietly with a troubled mind. The paintings of both artists when placed side by side are a whole depicting the relationship between people and society.

The story of artist Vuong The Quan is different, created in your own surreal world. It&#39;s a checkerboard with characters who are both someone and nobody. This is not a new image, and in itself has many allusions to the times. However, we still remember that this is not our world, but a different world with different rules. It is the ambiguity of a sufficient metaphor that brings interesting things to this series of paintings by The Quan, and sometimes, there, we also find a few cute points appearing as a guarantee for youthfulness and mischievousness of a young artist.

Finally, sculptor Phi Hung represents a contemporary visual language with metal materials, expressing the inherently vague and uncertain dreams of mankind.
