<a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/female-fashion-photographers-womens-history-month-annie-leibovitz-petra-collins" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ellen von Unwerth</a> is a German photographer and filmmaker known for her unique and daring style, blending glamour, sensuality and humor . After working as a model in the 1980s, she moved to the other side of the lens and quickly made her mark in the world of fashion and advertising. Her photography, often in black and white, celebrates femininity in all its forms, highlighting vibrant, energetic and lively images. Collaborating with major Maisons, from Dior to Chanel, Ellen von Unwerth has captured the essence of a contemporary aesthetic that combines provocative elegance and female empowerment.

This autumn, in conjunction with Art Basel Paris and Paris Photo 2024 &rsquo;s most exciting art events, world-renowned photographer Ellen von Unwerth is taking over the Park Hyatt Paris-Vend&ocirc;me with an exhibition featuring some of her iconic photographs from throughout her career. The photographs on display at the Park Hyatt Paris-Vend&ocirc;me highlight Ellen von Unwerth &rsquo;s famously provocative and poignant images that amplify a bold sensuality and reflect her very particular style of capturing pure and true moments of joy. &ldquo;When I photograph women, I don&rsquo;t ask them to be joyful and beautiful. I like to have fun on set and bring out the energy and character of each person or model I photograph. What interests me is capturing a moment of pure and real joy and showing it as it is,&rdquo; says Ellen von Unwerth.
 
The exhibition echoes the Park Hyatt Paris-Vend&ocirc;me 's close relationship with <a href="https://www.lofficielibiza.com/fashion/the-intersection-of-fashion-and-art" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion and art.</a> Indeed, the hotel collaborates each year with internationally renowned artists and galleries to create unique artistic projects within the establishment. The exhibition will be presented in the hotel lobby and at the Caf&eacute; Jeanne restaurant, from October 18 to December 1. Finally, the photographer collaborated with the master bartender of the place to create a unique cocktail, and immerse each spectator in an even more immersive experience.
